Ida and Jake were married on a rainy Saturday in May, but the rain couldn't begin to put a damper on their spirits. Ida was a positively resplendent bride. In a low-backed, lace dress with full curls and a red lip, she was equal parts classic elegance and vintage glamour. Jake was her perfect counterpart in a classic tuxedo. After first seeing each other in Forest Park (the look on Jake's face when he first saw her!), the two were married at the Shrine of St. Joseph. Their reception was held at the Crystal Ballroom at the Renaissance Grand. This was such a beautiful day, and Ida and Jake make an amazing couple.
This wedding is one of our favorite St. Louis weddings, and we love that it's an example of how as professional photographers, we need to be prepared for anything. As St. Louis film wedding photographers, we love capturing moments like these. Documenting weddings beautifully (even if it's raining, snowing, or 100 degrees outside) is so important to us, and we are honored to have photographed this gorgeous day.
