Jessica & Parth's Crystal Ballroom Wedding

April kicked off the start of our 2016 wedding season, and Jessica and Parth set the bar high for this year. These two had such a memorable, beautiful wedding. The entire day was a beautiful combination of Jessica and Parth; it was awesome to see how they combined their families, faiths, cultures, and traditions. Their ceremony was the first I've ever photographed to include both Hindu and Catholic aspects. Jessica made a beautiful bride: first in her stunning red and gold Indian lengha, and then again in her white reception gown. She and Parth fit together so easily and perfectly. During their reception, Parth's sister welcomed Jessica to the family officially, but said it felt like she had already been a member of their family for years. I love that. I'm happy that I was part of the day these two made it official. Congratulations, Jessica and Parth!

Erin & Brad's Contemporary Art Museum Engagement

This engagement shoot was one of our favorites! In addition to being really, ridiculously good-looking and stylish, Erin and Brad are two of our very dear friends. Erin is a very talented wedding photographer herself, and Brad is a respiratory therapist. It's a huge honor to be asked by another photographer to photograph their day, and we couldn't be happier to be a part of their November wedding. For the engagement session, Erin wore a stunning gown from Rent the Runway and she carried a lovely bouquet made by Melinda of Les Bouquets. Brad was positively dapper in his fitted navy suit. The minimalist and modern architecture of the Contemporary Art Museum was a perfect backdrop for this session, and we finished up with some photos at Tower Grove Park. We loved every inch of this session, and if this was just the engagement session, hold on to your hats for the wedding!

Ida & Jake's Renaissance Grand Wedding

Ida and Jake were married on a sort of rainy Saturday in May, but the rain couldn't begin to put a damper on their spirits. Ida was a positively resplendent bride. In a low-backed, lace dress with full curls and a red lip, she was equal parts classic elegance and vintage glamour. Jake was her perfect counterpart in a classic tuxedo. After first seeing each other in Forest Park (the look on Jake's face when he first saw her!), the two were married at the Shrine of St. Joseph. Their reception was held at the Crystal Ballroom at the Renaissance Grand. This was such a beautiful day, and Ida and Jake make an amazing couple. Congratulations, Ida and Jake!

Michelle & Jordan's Engagement | Forest Park Engagement Photography

I'm so excited to share these photos of Michelle and Jordan! In addition to being half of this amazing couple, Michelle is also an incredibly talented wedding planner with Absolutely In Events. We first met her almost a year ago when we collaborated with Absolutely In on this stunning styled shoot. It's such an honor to photograph the wedding of someone else in the industry (and judging by Michelle's profession, this wedding is going to be perfectly planned!). After meeting Jordan, we quickly learned that these two make a delightful couple. So down to earth and they have such a great time together. Their joy was simply infectious! I had such a great time photographing these two.
