Forest Park engagement

Ayesha & Sam Forest Park Engagement

We had a perfect day for Ayesha & Sam's engagement in the lovely Forest Park. It's hard to beat Forest Park at the start of spring, when the tulips are in bloom and the trees are freshly covered with leaves. Ayesha and Sam are such a fun and sweet couple, and they were so natural in front of the camera. I can't wait to photograph their Marriott Grand Crystal Ballroom (one of my absolute, all-time favorite venues) wedding later this summer!

Rachel & Tim Engagement

This spring has been a gorgeous time for engagement photos, and Rachel and Tim had the perfect weather for their session. From the blossoming trees to their adorable dog, this session was one of my favorites. We started off in Forest Park before heading downtown. These two make a perfect pair; they are so comfortable and happy together. Their November wedding is sure to be a showstopper - can't wait to photograph Rachel and Tim's big day!

Ashley & Craig's Forest Park Sunrise Engagement

There's something jawdroppingly beautiful about morning light.  For us non-early-morning people, it may require an extra dose of caffeine (or three), but I promise that it's worth the effort. As the sun sets earlier and earlier, sometimes a morning session is the easiest to fit in to a couple's busy schedule; we wrapped up this shoot before 9am! On a Thursday morning,  Ashley & Craig met up with me bright and early for their sunrise engagement session in Forest Park. We had a great time walking around the park finding some beautiful light and settings for some stunning, memorable photos. Ashley and Craig were a pleasure to work with, and I love how comfortable and happy they are together. Can't wait for the wedding!

Libby & David's Central West End Engagement

We started out Libby & David's engagement session with a drink at the Gamlin Whiskey House. The CWE was the perfect place to start for this stylish couple. I love the combination of David's well-cut suit and the bold print of Libby's dress, and the result is so cosmopolitan and chic. These two make walking across the road look like it should be a magazine cover. We headed over to Forest Park for a more casual outfit, where we caught some beautiful light. Libby and David were so easy to work with and such a fun couple. It couldn't be clearer that these two make a great match, and if the engagement session is any indication, their wedding is sure to be a show-stopper!
